Lion House
The Brief:
Design and specification of interiors in conjunction with Jo Cowen Architects. Full strip-out and reconfiguration of internal space.
The Location:
A four-storey Lion House in Fulham, south-west London
The Client:
Recently single male.
GD&L Design:
We worked in conjunction with the architects to deliver a refined and minimalist interior which reflected our client’s tastes. The new glass box extension showcased the client’s art collection and helped to maximise light in the kitchen. The introduction of a glazed wall between the lounge and hall retains a formal division of spaces without blocking light or allowing sound to carry upstairs. We selected a pared-back earthy palette which is punctuated by splashes of colour from the accessories.
