Sloane Square
The Brief:
Create luxurious private offices by refinishing, refurnishing and restyling this seven-storey building while retaining the period features
The Location:
A listed Georgian building forming part of the Cadogan estate in Chelsea, one of London’s most renowned shopping districts. This historic residence once played host to Jane Austin in one of the iconic octagonal rooms and dates back to 1780.
The Client:
Stella EOC, now part of GCA Altium
GD&L Design:
Designed and commissioned pared-back joinery in soft hues to ensure it didn’t compete with the pre-existing Georgian architectural details. As the walls already had period mouldings, we opted for a bold geometric pattern on the floors and up the sweeping central stair. We added punches of colour with soft-furnishings and artwork. The result was a confident and tailored suite of stylish, luxury offices
